Over 500 students have completed the four-year bachelor's degree programme at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music over the previous 15 years. The institute has produced many successful alumni like Wong Kah Chun, who is the conductor of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra in Germany. In 2016, Chun became the first Asian to win the Gustav Mahler Conducting Competition.
